Introduction to AM-3AXIS-P (3 Axis acceleration sensor plus module)

- 3axis acceleration sensor plus module is a board that can be used for testing by connecting to AVR board using the AM-3AXIS module
- It can be operated by using 5V input voltage because of its built in 3.3V regulator
- It can be used conveniently with NEWTC's AVR board because its connected using the 10Pin Header Box connector.(Connector must be connected to the ADC port)

Sleep Mode Control

/SLP pin is Pulled Up usingthe 4.7KOhm resistor and works in Normal Operation Mode unless some
othersignal is applied. To put the acceleration sensor to Sleep Mode, GND must be applied to the
/SLP pin.

Sensitivity Select

g-Select [2:1] pin is PulledDown using the 4.7KOhm resistor and works in 1.5g, 800mV/g Mode
unless someother signal is applied. To change mode the respectivepin can be controlled using port
or power.

The output signal ofacceleration sensor is of Analog nature and this Analog value varies dependingon
the acceleration value. X-axis Y-axis and Z axis acceleration value areoutput via the X_data, Y_data,
Z_data signals respectively
